Final Call – Bush Breakdown & Butchery Day This SaturdayDate:
Dear Members, Friends, Family. This is your last chance to secure a ticket to our Bush Breakdown & Butchery Day this Saturday, 27 June, at Wilton. Our Small Game Day is always one of the most popular events on the calendar, it is open to EVERYONE but places are strictly capped.
Date: Saturday, 27 June 2026 (10:00am start) The committee has been flat out sourcing goats, quail, ducks, geese, guinea fowl and more to make sure members get the most out of the day. This workshop is highly practical and hands-on, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of game species and learn techniques you can take home and use yourself. Not to mention all the food. Camp ovens, curry, coals, smokers, fire. The only thing we haven't considered is the salad. Anyone who pokes around the YouTube hunting space might recognise the name Alex Proft. Alex will be joining us during the day on Saturday, as well as the bird master himself, the poultry prodigy, Raphael Bongomin, single-handedly making feathers disappear faster than Albo's promises. At this stage, the forecast is for some light rain. However, the event is proceeding as planned. Camping is welcome on Saturday night. In fact, it's encouraged, because we'll be ramping up the camp fire.
Book now through the Member Jungle app or via the club website before tickets sell out. https://www.illawarrahuntingclub.com/index.cfm?module=event&pagemode=indiv&page_id=5191890
Please note: BYO alcohol & camp chairs. No guns, bows or dogs, and guests are asked to park in the top paddock. We look forward to seeing you there,
