Small Game Bush Breakdown & Butchery Day - ReviewDate:

General
Members had the opportunity to get involved in cleaning and processing goats, learn the correct and ethical dispatch and preparation of birds, and gain practical skills they can confidently take into the field. Of course, no IHC event would be complete without plenty of incredible food, a warm fire, good drinks and even better company. The laughs, conversations and friendships made throughout the day are what make these events so special. A huge thank you goes to Laura and Paskey Perre for generously allowing the club to use their beautiful property to host the day. We are incredibly grateful for your hospitality and support in making events like this possible. We would also like to sincerely thank our event sponsors:
Your ongoing support of the Illawarra Hunting Club helps us continue providing quality educational and social events for our members. A special thank you goes to Raphael Bongomin, who generously shared his extensive knowledge and experience in the ethical harvesting, dispatch and preparation of game birds. Your willingness to teach and answer questions made the day an invaluable learning experience for everyone who attended. We'd also like to recognise Blake, Alesa and Pon, who put in a huge effort behind the scenes preparing and cooking food throughout the day. Finally, thank you to everyone who attended, pitched in, asked questions, shared stories and helped make the day such a success. It's the willingness of our members to learn, teach and support one another that makes the Illawarra Hunting Club such a great community. We can't wait to see you all at next year's edition. |
