Training & Support is a simple yet fundamental way we give back to our members. It’s at the heart of what we do and forms a key part of our core values: knowledge, building confidence, and creating a supportive community for hunters of all skill levels.

Mentorship Program

We firmly believe that one of the most effective ways to learn is out in the field, with hands-on, one-on-one support. That’s why we’ve developed a highly regarded Mentor System.

New members have the opportunity to be paired with experienced hunters during our many club trips. This mentorship experience allows members to:

• Shadow skilled hunters and see how practical techniques are applied in real hunting scenarios.

• Reinforce theoretical knowledge gained through our formal accreditation courses and educational sessions.

• Build confidence and skill while understanding the importance of safe and ethical hunting practices.

Not only does this provide new members with invaluable experience, but it also allows the club to assess and guide members as they put their learning into action.

Club Meets & Information Sessions

Our monthly club meets are the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and share knowledge in a relaxed and friendly environment. We meet at the Cabbage Tree Hotel in Fairy Meadow on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM.

These sessions are:

• Informal and engaging – no pressure, just good conversation and shared learning.

• Interactive – we encourage members and guests to ask questions, share experiences, and bounce ideas off one another.

• Expert-led – learn first-hand from our experienced members who are always happy to share their expertise.

Whether you’re new to hunting and looking for guidance or a seasoned member wanting to refine your skills, these sessions offer something for everyone. And if you’re after information on a specific topic, we’ll help connect you with the right people to provide the support you need.
